So I am starting something new. I have been working on a landscape today in my studio from a photo I took in Italy last March of an area called Il Paradiso (Paradise). I have not done many studio landscapes, preferring to work outdoors (en plein air), but I have loved working in layers lately, so I am giving it a go. This is the base layer, and as it dries, I can work some glazes over it to bring some depth to it.
