In the Fall of 2021, I spent a couple of days in Yellowstone National Park painting and pondering. The Grand Prismatic Spring is one of the most spectacular natural beauties on earth. It is one of my favorite features at Yellowstone. On a very hot and sunny afternoon, I made it to the spring with my painting gear. I walked the entire path and found a nice design to paint along the edges of this colorful array.
